OMG. How boring can one person be? If I have to hear Mikhail say "Okay, We are going to build a Macro model with micro principles one more time...I may go insane." Outside of class this guy was nice, but in class, I was overcome by the redundancy and repetition.

Best teacher I've ever had! He really wants you to learn and understand. The material is hard, but he does a great job explaining it. Tests are fair, and he curves - a lot. Grade comes from 3 tests (you can drop the lowest) and a final. A+

He was very helpful, his class was easy, and his lectures were interesting. It took him for int. macro and money/banking, and I got an A in both courses. He gives an amazing curve after each test, so if you get a C it often ends up being an A. Take his classes. Great Professor.

Exams are impossible. Passing one of his exams before the curve is beyond having good luck. But the curves are extremely high. I actually do recommend taking him even though I gave bad scores.

The man is extremely brilliant, he know his stuff. Thus, his exams are entirely too difficult. They are literally the hardest tests I have taken in 5 years at UCF. Be prepared to study, study, study, and then you still might not do so well. He does however curve A LOT!!! (the only reason people do well) I would advise you to stay away.

Okay teacher but I would stay away from him if you can.He is a confirmed CONSERVATIVE.His classroom demeanor is okay and I wouldn’t challenge his professional understanding of the topics but he tends to offer his own opinion about too many things unrelated to the topic,when he’ll tie his opinion in with the facts at hand…NOT professional.

One of the best teachers on this campus. Very smart an d very clear. Great teacher. The tests are very hard, but then again this is a very hard class and major in the first place. Large curves, don't worry about how bad u do during the semester the final can save u. U will need to study, but he is a great prof. enjoyed the class.

The best economics teacher I have had at UCF. Very helpful and clear about what he wants. You do have to study for tests. Go to his office often and he will help you with his class or any other class you are having trouble with. Large curves on all tests. Great teacher, highly recommend.

Awesome teacher. Very knowledgeable and super intelligent. Textbook was EXTREMELY helpful and was actually an easy read for the material. Gave the class wayyyy more extra credit than they deserved, and people still complained and wanted more. Material can be hard, but tests are very fair. Would recommend to anyone.

Very difficult class. He does his best to explain, but how interesting can you make Economics at 7:30AM? He is a really cool guy, just isn't clear sometimes. He posts his notes online, but beware, he gave us a Study Guide that had typos in it, and never gave us a correct one. He does generously curve, though.

Kind of deceiving because he is a really nice guy, but his class is extremely hard. The tests are very tricky. The best thing to do is do all the problems at the end of each chapter. Reading the book and his lecture notes do not help very much for the tests.

Awful. Tests questions came out of nowhere. Asked everyone how to make the class better but didn't take any advice. DON'T TAKE HIM!! I had a 4.0 till this class.
