Dr. Jarrell has a gift of teaching, and teaching very clearly. BUT YOU GOTTA STUDY, STUDY, & STUDY! It's NOT an easy A or a B, but he will knock some solid knowledge into your head. Study hard, record lectures. Tests are challenging, but it is worth it. Take Dr. Jarrell if you want to learn & definitely take him if you are into healthcare.

I am in RN PCC right after taking his class, 2 of DR Jarrell student in my class, and my close friend go to UCSF Pharmacy school. DR J gives the worthiest knowledge in PCC, he is capable to teach micro as well if he want it. He has a noble character.

Professor Jarrell is an excellent teacher. This class is not for people who wish to get an easy A, an A is possible but you have to actually study and study hard. This class is time consuming but worth it. Do not take any other serious class along with this one or you'll regret it. Just take it, its like ripping off a bandaid. A+Teacher!!!

In his Anat25/Physo1 block class. The best class I have taken since coming to PCC. This class challenges you, but a majority of the class ends up with A's.
