Comment:

A really nice guy and a great teacher as well. He was also very helpful. He was one of the few instructors that I've had who actually emailed me back. Although, I didn't like his tests. He would list 6 topics for you to know, but you only had to write about 4 of them. You had to write a book about each topic to get a decent grade. Recommended.

Comment:

Great teacher. If you have an interest in history or learning in general you will get a lot out of his class. Very good lectures and he brings stuff in that you would not find in the book. If you are lazy or dumb or hate school but are for some reason still enrolled you will not like his class or assignments.

Mr. Kelly is a nice guy but his lectures are so boring. Prepare to sleep because he will talk doing the whole class period. I have to say, if you need help before or after class he is there to help you. The only problem with his tests are that he wants too much information. So prepare to study your azz off...

Comment:

Mr. Kelly is avery knowledgeable teacher. I enjoyed his lectures and his sense of humor. Whoever said that he gives a test a week on 20-50 pages out of the book, well he didn't do that for our class. We only had two tests, a midterm and a final, and he gives you the questions that are going to be on the test and plenty of time in advance to study.

This teacher was not too bad. First time I ever actually did good in History. When I had him his tests were essays but he gave you the topics and they were really easy to find in the book so they were not hard. I'd recommend him for history buffs and those like me who cannot stand history

I thought Kelly's class was really great if you have a sincere interest in US History. His lectures were extremely informative and interesting. His tests were challenging if you did not spend alot of time preparing for them. He required alot of work, but honestly, I really enjoyed the lectures. He knows his stuff - and he's a nice guy.

BEWARE__________Worst teacher I have ever had. He has a test a week on 20-50 pages out of the text and the questions have more than one answer. He will lecture for the whole class time as you just fall asleep or your mind wanders off.
