Dr. Christopherson is one of the best professors I have had at SUNY Plattsburgh. The textbook is the wall street journal. Memorize everything he says and you will do well in the class. Very helpful at office hours.

Robert Christopherson was one of the best professors I've had since attending SUNY Plattsburgh. You do need to attend class but there is an extra 2% on final grade if no classes are missed. Answers questions correctly and wants to make sure everyone learns. Smart and sweet guy. Would recommend to anyone scared to take a stats class!

I got an A in his class and I will tell you how you can too: go to every class and take good notes; "know your notes" very well in preparing for exams; also study the homeworks he assigns from the book; go to office hours if you are not clear on something from the notes. Taking good notes is key but he teaches class like Speedy Gonzales.

If you are a good student, want to work hard, have your hard work be worth something, and learn A LOT in the process of doing so - take any class with Dr. C. He really is an awesome guy and not to mention an even better professor. He truly teaches you how to be a hard working student. Class isn't easy, but 100% worth every lecture. Take him!!!

This guy could spend 40 minutes describing a way to solve a problem, and then tell you it isnt right and show you how to really do it. Notes are all over in the board in no order and he rambles like an auctioneer for the entire class duration. Don't put yourself through this guy's class.

I had to work extremely hard to get a good grade in his class, but I'm thrilled that I did. I learned not only a lot about Macroeconomics but how to be a successful student and someday business professional. He challenges you very hardly but if you put in the work, it is absolutely towards your benefit at the end of the semester. Highly recommend!

Due to the fact his exams are so hard he loses any credibility of being a coveted professor.Studying intensely and receiving mediocre grades is discouraging. Professor C's exams will get the best of you if you are not putting in 5-15 hours of study per exam, depending on your study skills. GPA killer; highly recommend avoiding him if possible.

A little sarcastic at times but once you get to know him you'll realize what a great guy he is. Always entertaining & funny, one of the few professors I miss from my Plattsburgh days. If you get a chance take his class, you probably wont get an A but you'll learn so much and retain it.

Draws a million graphs in class; explains them well. Jokes are funny. Helpful person. Only 3-4 assignments, two tests, and a final. Absence of quizzes makes it hard to earn a good grade since there are only three main exams in total and no significant extra credit opportunities. Keep your no. 2 pencils ready! P.S.: Extremely hard to get an A!

Gives notes in class on the board. You write them down. Almost everything he tests you on is what goes in your notes. Hard to get great grades on tests, only a handful of A's, but a lot of B's. My only real criticism is the homework from the book, which doesn't seem to be worth the money spent for the book. Otherwise great prof, highly recommended.

A very interesting and well-organized course, meanwhile, the assignments given were too confusing. As I see it, he should have go over the chapter first, and then assign the homework, and not vice-versa. Overall, I was not very impressed about his attitudes he had for students.

If you fail his class you have no one to thank but yourself. He's clear, concise, & even cracks a joke now & then. The courses he teaches aren't "easy", but if you read & pay attention they certainly aren't hard.
