An absolutely fantastic teacher, who has been an amazing mentor throughout university and the years after. She has a solid reputation and her name goes a long way in the world of Russian History. You must take her class if you have an interest in Russian History. She has a small cult following at BC

She is not only solid on knowing all there is about Russian History, but she has been a great friend and mentor throughout college, graduate school and in professional life. If there is a gem in the history department, it is Roberta Manning.

The Most helpful professor in the profession. Besides being helpful, her research on Russian collectivization is cutting edge. She has a solid reputation in academia. Students would be foolish not to take her courses.
