Worst class, he did not want to be there and made us suffer. He was rude and you could not understand half of what he said. he lectured math which to a non math major did not help (solving problems and telling us how we could figure them out would have). On top of that I asked him for help during office hours and he refused to help me.

I wouldn't suggest taking this class in the summer. When the classes get long he tends to forget that he has an accent and not pay attention to his speech. I can recall multiple times that fellow classmates and I glanced around with looks of disbelief at the jibberish that was coming out of his mouth. Though he is always willing to repeat himself.

He is a very good teacher. I think that if you keep up with the work and are prepared for class you will be fine. At times, it can be hard to understand him because of the accent. But you get used to it. He is VERY fair!!

Great professor! I'm not good at math and I got a 95%. He's so helpful and easy to approach. Also, you can easily persuade him to change exam format or decide not to take quizzes. Great class!

safi is an amazing and very helpful professor. He tries to help out as much as possible, he wants you to do well. There are three exams, around eight quizzes, and two projects.He explains things more than once if you want him to. Gives practice exams!!

I thought Safi was pretty good. At times his accent got in the way but you could tell he always was ready to help and explain things more than once if you had a problem.

He really tries to make it as easy as possible -changed our final from ch 1-9 to 6-8 bc we were worried-practice exams basically the same as the test- wants you to do well-i'm not a strong math student and i havent gotten lower than an 87!
