You'll have to partner up in this class if you're expecting to miss a lot because she won't catch you up on her own. She's an amazing teacher who really loves math and will personally help you if you have specific issues. This class helped me relearn the basics of math, and these classes aren't lecture heavy. You just have to do the homework.

I kind of wish I hadn't taken this class, as it turned out to be frustratingly easy. Don't bother with the textbook at all, you really don't even need to print out the notes if you don't want to waste the ink. She does do pretty good at breaking down the material, and there are extra credit opportunities. Grade is based entirely on tests.

DO NOT buy the textbook. She'll tell you that you need it the first day, then turn around the next class and say it's unnecessary. If you study the notes, and you understand them, you don't need to go to class. She reads from the notes verbatim. Overall, the class was boring and an easy A, and I only came for the exam. She's very caring though.

Just wants us to pass, offers many resources to ensure that you do well in her class. I have never been good at math and I got a 95, as long as you come to class you will pass with flying colors no matter your level of math skills. TAKE HER

3 quizzes, 4 exams - this is all she grades. DO NOT GET TEXTBOOK, she puts notes online. you will learn more from classmates and teaching yourself. attendance isn't mandatory but unless you can't teach yourself then come, MAKE FRIENDS. quizzes are 10 questions, exams 30. really not that bad, just seriously make friends and do practice tests.

Her office is hard to find - its in the ECSB building - across the street behind the houses on the quad. She isn't as helpful as she claims, but is encouraging and occasionally offers extra credit. I would get the textbook because I think she will be using a different textbook that she wrote next semester, though I didn't really use this one.

She is amazing! I love her! Don't understand why people would talk bad about her, it's probably because they don't take the initiative to ask questions. She KNOWS what she's doing, and she's very approachable. She's funny. She talks about her son a lot, but gets right back to finishing her unit for the day. Always finished class early. WOULD TAKE

She talks a lot, which is kind of annoying. she explains things easily at first but then complicates them by adding way more than needed. Test match the study guide with different numbers. Easy grade but very few grades in the grade book. LOTS of extra credit opportunity.

Prof. Davis is an absolute gem! She does a ton of lectures but she is excellent at making sure you understand each topic. I missed a few days of class but she helped me catch up quickly. We were graded mostly on the 4 tests but they were not hard to pass if you attended class and did the homework for extra practice.

Was looking forward to taking her class for 162m pre-calc because of all the good comments about her algebra class but I really regret taking her class now... a lot of homework good for practice but a waste of time if it's difficult to learn the materials from her lectures. This class requires a lot of self taught and she makes so so many mistakes.

Short lectures (mostly 25 minutes) because the professor is basically reading off the notes. As a result, the class is difficult because doing assignments become a struggle at the same time it's time consuming because she took away the "help me solve" in mathlab which teaches you how to do the problem. Taking Algebra with her is better.

Professor Davis was Fantastic! She's always in a terrific mood despite what's going on in her life. Seriously, the woman could've just come back from fighting in the trenches and you'd never guess it. She knows Math 102M like the back of her hand, and doesn't mess around in class. She teaches the material, then let's you leave if you're good.

She is an ok professor, class ended 20-30 minutes early everyday. But an easy math class. She also doesn't like helping students a lot. Unless you did the homework. Ended the class with a C.
