Comment:
as a teacher, mediocre would be a generous assessment. she is incapable of EDUCATING. preaching about one's own experiences and using condescending language towards those who do not kiss the ground upon which she walks does NOT make her a good teacher... oh, yeah... nor does it qualify her to be promoted to chair of the DANM department!

Brilliant and challenging, her classes are sometimes a little too far above undergrad level for most students. Expect to put your all in to her classes and get some real mind-bending stuff out of them.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! I didn't learn anything in teh class and she didn't even seem to pay attention to the student films. It was a good class because you get to make movies, but if possible, get a diffrent teacher. She basis grades on her likings and dislikings of personal styles rather than on effort and, which should be everything in an art class like this.

Sharon Daniel is a complete moron. She assigns too much work and is too inept to reserve the necessary equipment for the class to use. She can't even schedule a room properly. Avoid at all costs.

Sharon was an excellent teacher dedicated to opening our minds to different perspectives of art. Her lectures were interesting, her assignments were provocative, and her evaluations were fair and honest. I would highly recommend taking a class with her.

sharon herself must have written the entry below, because in reality she is a terrible excuse for a teacher. she does not break down complex ideas, she complicates simplistic ideas. she-talks-very-mo-no-ton-ous-ly, and condescendingly. + she is not hot.
