Really nice teacher and helpful when didn't understand something. But her grading system is horrible! Her homework and exams she rarely gave partial credit, she Would just consider the entire problem wrong because you didn't circle your answer or skipped a step. If you want someone to not be as tough on grading take someone else.

Professor Berger is an amazing math teacher. She really puts a lot of effort into making sure everyone understands the problems before moving forward. She is always available to help and makes silly jokes about Math. Overall I would recommend taking her class. Do the homework, participate and attend class and you should do well.

Professor Berger is a really good teacher. She adds humor to what she teaches so you will never be falling asleep. She assigns a lot of homework & its not mandatory but it helps a lot when you do test & Quizzes. I def recommended her as a teacher

This was probably the only math professor I understood at Valley. The rest only taught to themselves. This was a summer class in 2010 and Ms.Berger understood my hate for math. But she helped me get a good grade and she helped with anything I needed help in. Amazing professor!!! :) Highly recommended!

although her lectures are good, shes not a very good teacher. Doesnt appear confident in her teaching, and has trouble putting things into perspective. Also her grading can be a bit harsh, unforgiving to typos. All in all mediocre teacher, if math is not your subject I definetly would not take her.

Ms. Berger is amazing! Patient/thorough/concise/easy-2-follow. She made learning math a great experience. I actually looked forward to going to class, and i had her for summer session. It was intense, daily hmwk & quizes/tests every Fridays/gave review for final/. Take her & you'll have a great foundation on Algebra for the rest of your life!

took for winter. quiz everyday, easy though. 2-3 hours spent on HW everyday, no problem. she doesnt collect HW but you should do it. shes helpful in class but sometimes she'll just say go to the math center or tutoring. i myself found the class to be easy.

her way to teach was incredible. Even though it was during the winter, she could take almost 45 minutes explaining the problems for the benefit of the class. she was really cool and I recommend everyone who wish to learn trigonometry to take her
