He definitley knows his stuff, very smart and is a pretty good teacher. The class was too hard for a 1000 level class though, he teaches stuff above the head of most non-physcis majors, in the end I got a pretty good grade but there were times when I had no clue what he was talking about. If you read the book you'll be fine.

Hardest class I have ever taken in my life. Everybody rates him good because he is outgoing and can keep you entertained but the fact is he can't teach simply. H I attended every class and participated and studied for every quiz and test and passed the class with a C. Many people in the class were confused as well. DOES NOT TEACH SIMPLY!!!

Wonderful teacher. I took this class only because I needed some more credits for my degree, and I have loved every minute. He is very fun, makes things interesting, loves to teach, and cares about his students. If you are taking any phyiscs/science class that he teaches, I would suggest taking it from him!

This professor knows what he is talking about, a student can ask him any question, and he can answer it. He is very organized and really loves to teach, just take good notes and study. I would highly recommend him as a teacher.

Take all notes and memorize for tests, do this and will pass with flying colors. Really knows material and makes astronomy fun to learn! Stronly Recommend, if you want to learn astronomy.

Knows what he's talking about but had a hard time understanding questions asked by my classmates. Tried to answer at a higher level than necessary. He said it at the beginning though...read the book, come to class and take the quizzes and you will get an a. I only went 50% of class and got a b.

Prof. Millward is a pretty good teacher who knows what he is talking about. The class was generally interesting. Basic 10 quizes, 3 tests, and a 6 page paper. I recommend him.
