Comment:

She is a nice person, won't grade you poorly if you say you didn't learn in the portfolio and does help improve your writing. However, I recommend going to the writing center for help, since she's a tough grader. She gets off topic very easily and doesn't assign due date, even though she wants them done on a certain day and doesn't tell you.

I switched to a different prof after the first class. She was sweet, but too odd and all over the place. She expected comp students to watch the news every night, on more than one station, and be able to write about current events. There were too many assignments and expectations with a full schedule. I left while I had the chance!

She is very sweet, but definitely a little bit crazy. She goes off topic very often and tends to assign papers late and only give you a short amount of time to get them done. She is only willing to help revise your papers and make them better, and sometimes she makes sure we know what is due and when it is.

You really need to improve on your writing structure to get a good grade in the class. At first i didn't like the class but professor croman is a great professor and she really helped our class a lot. It really is a great class to take, you need to have an open mind.

Do not recommend. I was a good writer in high school, which is why I believe I did well in her course. But she's such a harsh grader it's ridiculous. Says it's impossible to get an A (and only two or three of us did). She basically calls you out in front of the entire class. When I asked her to review my work, she said I was combative.

I would not recommend taking her class; she is very unprofessional. She's extremely unclear as to the guidelines of each assignment and when I asked questions, she rolled her eyes at me and made sarcastic comments. She's always going off topic (not in the good way), she's a harsh grader, she's confusing, and she's old-fashioned.

She is a crazy little women with a big heart. She means business and doesn't mind letting you known it. Great teacher, really helps you with your papers and always lets us out early. No hip hop this semester but I actually didn't mind getting out of bed to take her class. She is super easy as a grader will mos def work with you. Must take class

She is a really nice professor and is very funny. She is willing to help you at all tines. Only problem you might have is at the end of the semester your reqired to do a research paper which have to be 8-10 pgs long, with 8-10 sources. ugh.. but she says she grade on effort. idk ma grade yet.

Here's the thing; Prof Croman is a very sweet lady that is willing to help you if you are not a great writer, however, if you are a pre-med or really have to keep your GPA up DO NOT TAKE HER. It is allmost impossible to get an A in this class. Here is a quote " I grade on talent, not on how hard you work" enough said.

Great professor. Very rational and understands that not all of us are English Majors. She allows rewrites and isn't too strict with late assignments. Very open to people's points of views. I strongly recommend anyone to take a class with her.

Professor Croman is a good professor. When you first recieve the syllabus, it seems very hard and looks like a lot of work, but its really not that bad. Its a lot of writing, but as long as you keep up with it and turn things in on time, you'll be fine. She really isnt clear on directions or due dates, but is willing to answer any questions anytime

Prof Croman is a wonderful teacher. the only time she would get mad is when the students don't do the work but she is really cool and very helpful. she love the song lean Back so is you gonna take her make sure you know the song. all in all her class is really easy. just make sure you do the work.
