I have to completely disagree with the comments below me. Most of them were written over ten years ago. I found professor Thompson very knowledgeable and caring about her students. If you want to pass its simple. Come to class and do all of the homework. You cant expect to pass without putting any effort. P.s I didnt find her intimidating at all

Everyone is so hard on Dr. Thompson. I honestly feel like she is one of the best math teachers i've ever had. I worked my butt off and only got a B, but if I would have tried to clear up a few more things, I probably could have gotten an A. And she would have helped if I asked. Shes intimidating but just be nice and she will be nice back.

The most unfair prof at Otterbein. She is unkind, uncaring, and self-centered. She is not helpful, as a matter of fact she is intimidating which discourages students from approaching her. She needs to find a new profession because she does not like students. Very disappointment encounter.
