I actually took Sybil at American University, and I have never experienced such an impacting and overall incredible Professor. Sybil is incredibly knowledgable and I've never had a boring class with her. We learn about important topics and she is clearly passionate about her work. She's also very caring and available for her students.

Prof. Roberts was one of my favorites at HU. She is very passionate and challenged my thinking on many levels. Her classes are not "easy", however her classes are ones you look forward to going too.

Check yourself before taking Sybil, or any of her courses, at face value. Her style echoes academic visions comparable to great scholars, such as Cheik Diop, John Henrik Clark, Jean Toomer, and others. So many textures, she truly loves her subject. Give full attention, U will truly be enriched!
