This class is very easy as long as you go to class and study a tiny bit. I've gotten over 100% on all the quizzes bc of extra credit. Not very much homework at all. Class is boring sometimes but very easy A. Can only miss class up to 5 times, don't bother getting the textbook

It's marching band, show up and do what you're supposed to and you'll be fine. She does overreact at some things though and tends to get really mad, but overall she's a nice lady who has her moments. If you're expecting marching band to be just an easy credit, it is, but it is also a lot of time required to be put in for 1 credit.

Dr. Fisher is good at what she does! College marching is kind of unique because it is not as intense as high school marching band (At least that was my experience). In college, you are not exactly doing hard drill along with hard music. It is more easy to medium level music that is being played. Kind of think pep band and marching band combined.

Comment:
Dr. Fisher is extremely petty and unprofessional. She holds personal grudges against people who aren't her favorites, and treats them horribly because of it. She claims that respect is her number one priority, but has no idea how to treat her students with respect. Either learn how to get on her good side, or find a different professor.

Her lectures are one of the most boring things I've ever encountered. For note sheets she just prints off her slide show, which makes it very difficult to read it. The class is dragged out for the entire duration and you will find yourself checking the time every 3 minutes, just wishing it is over. Boring, I recommend take a different class for crd

I would not recommend her. Class drags on because she reads off of powerpoint slides and shows YouTube videos the entire time. She acts like an elementary teacher, calling out students for talking or being a minute late to class, and she acts like her class should be high priority for all her students when it's just a blow off gen-ed class.

BEST BAND DIRECTOR EVER. She comes off as hard core but shes a great person who only wants everyone to succeed. If you give her a bad rating you must have done something to royally make her mad.

Very vindictive- don't get on her bad side as the way she holds a grudge is almost childish. Also, she has little control over her students. For the most part, this was a waste of my parent's money. If you love band, avoid her.

Music 105 is incredibly easy, and you will get an A if you want to. However, I would highly recommend getting Phipps as your lecturer because he is hilarious. Fisher is okay, but she just reads everything off a power point.

I did not enjoy Tammy as a professor at all. She taught us like we were little kids and coulnd't comprehend what we were saying. I have been taking music classes and lessons my whole life and half the stuff she was saying made no sense at all. She also pronounces things wrong all the time.

If things don’t go her way, she’ll make you look like an idiot in front of the class. If you get on her bad side one day, you’ll be stuck there for the rest of the semester. I love music but I’m not doing marching band next year solely because of her.

I love that Dr. Fisher is a percussionist, but at the same time, she's not the best band director I've had. There are flaws in her teaching, but she's def. not the worst. Not bad, not bad...
