Lovely professor very caring. She offers plenty of extra credit. She goes step by step in her study guides. PARTICIPATE and youll be good, do the big book in class. Show you CARE! Try your best DO NOT GIVE UP trust me, i almost did and i passed. She is very generous. Thank you Mrs. Sutcliffe you are a remarkable teacher! No random QUIZES :)

Calculus is freaking hard. Professor Sutcliffe offers so much extra credit that you could get enough points to not even take the final and still have an A in the class. She gives extra credit points for being in class, participating, doing homework, etc. Will you learn anything? Probably not. But do you need to know calculus outside of this class?

Sutcliff is a very easy going person. She offers plenty of extra credit which is useless and makes you lazier and when it comes to testing, it's A VERY HARD test and u realize u know nothing because you didn't learn anything. Her method is to go lecture yourself at home and I'll solve your homework at class for u. Learned little, Dropped already.

Do the Big Book problems and Little Book HW. She gives lots of EC just by participating in class and staying in her class. Her lectures are clear. She is also really nice. You can ask her questions in her office or after class. If you want an easy A, take her. :)

First, she makes you buy her own workbook/textbook whatever it is. Second of all, if you actually want to learn, dont take her. If youre doing something stem related and you need a strong math background, dont take her. If you just want to pass and get it over with, ok, then take her, shes offers a crap ton of extra credit. But you dont learn.

Easiest math professor. She gives extra credits, a lot. Just by staying in class and reciting. You must also do your Big Book problems and Little Book notes in order to get it. And she also offers 1-2 pages of notes for exams. P.S if you are not a fast learner and want to really learn not just by doing the extra credits, reconsider taking her.

Honestly one of the easiest math professors. Its impossible to not pass her class. She offers extra credit points everyday! If you stay till the end of class she will also give extracredit! She allows 1-2 pages of notes for each exam. She even let us use 5 pages of notes for our final last semester. She really wants her students to pass

Professor Teresa is amazing. I took her for Math 110 and Math 125 and loved it. She gives a lot of extra credit and her grading system is very clear. If you don't get it she will take her time to explain it to you and if you still don't get it, she will stay after class with you and explain it again. She is really one a kind professor!

She expects you to know this subject. We're in the class for a reason, to learn. Not to get told that we know this or that we aren't trying? And asking a question is even worse. She'll explain one time and if you don't get it than sorry. It's like I'm paying you to teacher, we are in that class for a reason or else why would we be taking it?

Highly recommend taking Math 125 with Teresa Sutcliffe. If you are not an individual that tests well, she offers plenty of extra credit opportunities. Attend and participate in class, earn those extra credit points. Read syllabus, provides all info in regards to grading. Its a Math class, a lot of work. practice, practice and participate.

I LOVED Theresa. Her class is "learner friendly". She's structured her class to give you every chance to learn. Just put in the time and actually DO the math. Her expectations are clear, and she gives you all the material you could possibly need to succeed in her class. She laughs frequently at herself, not you. Can't wait to take Math125 with her!

People who have written bad reviews probably didn't even try. I took her for Winter 2017 ( 5 week course) AND intense but if she sees that you try and that you put in effort then she will help you in return. She laughs but never at YOU! She's super sweet and if I could I would definitely take her for a regular semester but Stat 101 awaits. TAKE HER

i fail two math classes before I took her and then finally passed the class thanks to her ! She really cares for her students and I love that she laughs a lot ! It's gonna be up to you and the way you want to learn in her class ! If you fail the first test don't droop the class she just wants to see you trying and working hard. !!!

She gives you all the tools you need to be successful- its your responsibility to use them. Homework is optional, attendance isnt mandatory (youll get more points on your grade the longer you stay). She's not going to spoon feed you success, you have to work for it. Good practice for transferring to a 4 year school. Do the work, read, youll be fine

2 books for this class they are made by her and are mandatory cause hw and lessons are in it. Half the class leaves during the break but those are the people who fail. every day hw as you would expect with a 5 unit math class. I got a B but i could have tried harder by going to the tutor lessons she had and how helpful she is after class.

Spring Session. Do not miss her class, she has set up her own textbook in hope that people will understand math, please make sure your are comfortable with at least math 110. Devote extra time outside of class. Homework is easy. Even if you get the answer wrong she will give you points for starting the problem.

If you're good at math, go ahead and take her. If that's not the case, find someone else. She goes really fast and ask her a question she'll either not have time or humiliate you for asking. She will not take the blame, she'll say it's your fault and her way is fine. Horrible, that's the best way to put it. Do yourself a favor and take someone else
