Professor Pan is by far one of the most accomplished people in the field of Anthropology today. I put him right up there with James Watson and Ted Bestor of Harvard University. His current research on "Neighborhood Shang-hai" is by far the most accomplished fieldwork of today. TAKE HIS CLASSES!

Wow, I think the class confused me less when I wasn't in it. Despite the fact that I have no idea WHAT I learned, I did ol, but it was definitely not worth those painful class. Just stay away, it's not worth it.

warning: he is a nice man but do not take his class! lectures were uncoherent, unorganized, and boring. readings were never discussed in class. i spent the whole semester completely confused. made a potentially interesting subject a complete turn-off.

Ok, this is the deal, if you desperately want a good grade take him. All you have to do is skim over the reading. Definetly very boring. Can barely speak english but his written skills are excellent. WARNING: He doesnt know what Pygmes are! (Short People)
