I am not in CCM so I am not a music person, but I loved Haines. He has a vast amount of knowledge about music and many other subjects too. He explained things so even I could understand them and as long as you go to class you will do fine.

This class did not come easily to me. He took the time to stop and make sure that I personally (as well as the others who were confused) understood before he would move on. He would set aside time out side of class to teach and make sure that I understood. He made for a great teacher/student fantasy too!

Tom Haines is absolutely the MAN. There are few people in our profession, let alone those that are Professors, who have the width and breadth of knowledge that this man has of All things Audio. Add to that, the man genuinely cares about his students and wants to see them succeed, both in and out of school, and will work very hard to help them attain that. Yeah he is a cutie, but he knows it. He also is very smart, and he knows it. I liked him despite these character flaws, and I saw a lot of good in him as well. Pay attention in his classes and give much props and you might just learn something.
