He understood that the material was fairly difficult so he took the time to do exercises with us the class before the exams and asked us which questions we wanted to go over. Make sure you read the book and do the exercises that will make or break you!

I absolutely loved his class, I learned so much. His lectures were the best and very helpful for the quizzes and exams. The term paper was the hardest part of the class to be honest, it's a six page essay. I would only recommend him to people that love a challenge. I believe he did his job.

Everything is based off of test exams, quizzes, and one paper. Lecture is great and helpful but everything else is based off of textbook. Theres no homework or class work so everything relies on how much you study. Hes great at going over in detail about the subject in class, but mostly everything needed for quizzes and test are from the book.

He knows the subject very well and is very blunt about his expectations. He tries to make the class interesting however the subject material was difficult to learn and requires more attention that I could not give it. Readings are assigned every class and he does enjoy pop quizzes. You should genuinely be interested in the subject to take his class

I studied for this class A LOT with my two friends (who got A's btw) and yet I found myself having more difficulty in this class than MATH. He's a very interesting guy and his lectures were hilarious but I still had so much trouble even with all resources. I dropped the class when I knew there was no hope for a C. Never failed a class before.

Some people say he's rude and obnoxious... which is all the more reason I loved this professor. He spent time actually explaining the material, so constant that it helped stick, and he did his best to answer questions. Just put in the work and you'll get the results you want. Respect his time and he'll respect you, not hard to figure out.

Straightforward class. 6 quizzes, 3 will be pop quizzes while the 2 lowest scores are dropped. 3 exams which include the final. No written homework or classwork other than reading. Your notes better include every example and person he gives and mentions because essay questions on the exam are expected to be VERY detailed, making him a tough grader

Tough class. Textbook and attendance are required. Homework and quizzes are not announced ahead of time generally. Nice enough professor but not an easy class.

He is very passionate about literature, he is a cool guy but the class itself is hard. I took his class & tried but still did bad on everything and I am an average student but I could not engage in this class. He used very big words and talked as if we knew the info. There are 3 exam's, the third is the final, 6 quizzes and pop quizzes & 1 paper

Prof F's lectures are extremely interesting and he has a really good sense of humor. He doesn't care if he offends you which is awesome. You do have to work for your grade, no curves no extra credit. And you are graded based off of 3 tests, one of them being the final exam, 6 quizzes, 3 pop, and one term paper. Work hard and you can achieve an A.

Good teacher for sure but no NOT take this class if you're looking to only fill up your schedule. He is a tough grader and will never curve a quiz or test. However, his lectures are interesting and he's a funny guy. He says at the beginning of the semester that he doesn't care what people think about him and he might offend you. He's hot too.

Great guy. But to pass this class you have to make an effort. If you expect to just walk in and pass its not gonna happen. Also read your book.

I took Dr. Ferraiolo's Logic course. He's clear in his expectations, that you must work to get a good grade (both on the assignments and practicing in the textbook on your own time), show up consistently, and engage with the material. He's a great guy who will help you if you ask and he's also a Monty Python fan, so you can't go wrong there.

An amazing professor. His lectures were incredible and extremely captivating, if you take good notes you could probably receive a C in the class using only his notes without the book (the textbook is still really important though). it's not an easy class, expect tons of homework but a firm understanding of philosophy once you finish.

Dr. Ferraiolo is an outstanding professor. He works to make the material interesting while also being very clear in his lectures. You know exactly what you need to do to *earn* an A in the class from day 1 and he doesn't deviate from that. If you do the reading and the exercises as he instructs you to do, you will succeed in his class.

Dr. Ferraiolo is a great professor. He warns you on the first day that stuff he says might offend you, and he frankly doesn't give a damn if anything he says strikes a nerve. But that's what's great about him. He's funny, teaches the material well, and if you're ever stuck on something will help you, no sweat. Favorite professor at Delta, by far.
