Comment:

Only three homework problems but they are the most difficult problems ever. Sometimes was a bit confusing so had to go to another professor for help understanding material. His class is doable but you must work really hard to get a good grade. Tests are simple but one simple mistake will cost 13/15 points on a problem in the exam.

If you have any issues with anything EE or CPE related at VCU, this is the guy to talk to. Disclaimer: I actually have not had him as a professor. However, I am very much looking forward to taking one of his classes. He has gone out of his way to help me with issues I've had, and he is extremely easy to talk to. EECPE problem? Talk to Docef.

Comment:

AWESOME PROFESSOR. Extremely methodical, and organized in his approach to teaching. The class involves alot of math, and most of his time is spent filling up the whiteboard with it. Helpful Hint: don't just watch him working the problems on the board, do them with him and while he's doing them! He will improve your math skills!

He is the best teacher in the school. I worked with him as a teaching assistant and wish I had him as my grad studies supervisor. Extremely helpful, polite, easy going, friendly and has strong base in engineering subjects.

Comment:

Easily the most laid back teacher in the school. Often feared by his monotone voice his writing that confuses many, once you get used to it his classes are well organized and he is extremely fair. Always willing to help, and will give tons of partial credit. Subject matter is difficult, but don't get discouraged, his class averages are quite high.

I believe Dr. Docef is an under-rated prof. he deserves a lot more, great guy, very helpful, when teaching on the board, one of the best teachers. I say him and Dr. Tait are the 2 best ones in Electrical Engineering Dep.
