DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS PROFESSOR!!!! As most people have already said, your answer is always wrong. Quizzes are okay. However; for the midterm, final, all projects, and all extra credit questions, you will be lucky to get better than 50% grade on. I have never received less than a high B in any course, yet I have an F in this class.

This professor give HORRIBLE feedback. When you try to schedule a meeting with him, he tries to blow you off. Any answer you give is wrong whether the answer is from the book or an answer he gives in class. If you give an example that he doesn't like, it's wrong whether or not it's a valid example.

If you give the textbook answer, you're wrong. If you give his answer, but not the way he wants or likes, you're wrong. Projects rarely coincide with lectures or quizzes. You will have no idea what you're supposed to be learning about much less what you can do to improve.

If you're up for a challenge then this is the class for you!! Like most people have already said he is looking for a specific answer to a broad question so if you think you did good on the essays midterm and final think again. I would recommend taking 376 with a different professor if possible.

Extremely picky. He offers an extra credit assignment for every chapter, but don't bother spending 10-20 minutes of your time for those extra 2 points. You will almost always receive 0 or 1 point because he doesn't clarify what he wants from your paragraphs. Grades tough on the midterm. If you can read minds, you'll probably get a B on his tests.

Hard grader. When it came to the midterm and final, he asks very broad questions but expects a certain answer. It's up to you to figure out what he wants answered. I did however love his lecture's, he kept it fun and relevant to what goes on in current technology. HOWEVER his Hands on assignments are also horrible!

Boagdan is a very interesting professor, very organized and very intelligent. There is no tests, maily presentations and case studies. You do have to get a lot of information from outside sourses. Which is fun of course if you have a lot of free time. For working professionals - good luck!

The quizes online are easy enough if you can find the answers in the book.The final and midterm are open note/book. But it's all essay. The hands-on assignments are tough. I had to ask him numerous times in his office for help and a lot of the times he guides you but won't give you the answers, and I was still lost.

Prof. Hoanca is definitely hot but what makes him hotter is his level of knowledge when it comes to computer systems. So even when the lesson is boring, at least it's great to just sit and look at 'em!! ;)

Professor Hoanca is a great profesor! He's very very nice and he is willing to go out of his way to help students. If you don't like computers or aren't good with them then obviously the class will be pretty hard. But if you like computers then this class is very fun and kind of easy.

He's cute, but he's a hard grader.He called my answer superficial.Then when I talked about outsourcing to overseas, he gave me a good grade. I don't know where he's from but he's discriminant when it comes to answers.Tell him what he what's to hear.
