This prof. should not be allowed to teach. Her personal feelings on sex, gender, relationships, homosexuality and politics blind her ability to share the curriculum she is attempting to teach. She is disconnected from the world in what is acceptable in society in both demeanor and cultural acceptance of students and faculty at the College.

Very personable and usually nice, but not at all interested in adapting to meet every department's needs. Very obviously looks down on music ed majors, not willing to try to see how things can be adapted to make them more useful in a music classroom. Often talks down to students/condescending.

Talking down to people is not acceptable especially when she is teaching future teachers. Wartburg has many Music Education Majors and she has no desire to include the pedagogy used in that field, but she is more than happy to say teaching music isn't nearly as valid as mathematics. And we're in this discipline because we couldn't do something else

I will agree with a previous poster in that you either love her or hate her. I think that if you are respectful and do the work on time she will like you and seems to carry on more conversations with you.
