Comment:

Probably the funniest guy you will meet who also doubles as a teacher. The material is interesting and Fee is wild about his accents and knowledge of medieval/viking history so class is fun and easy to participate in. Do the readings so you know whats going on but otherwise not a tough class. Write solid papers. Definitely take him if you can!

This guy is hysterical. Everybody gets nicknames the first week of class. Despite his teasing and sometimes abrasive humor, he genuinely cares about everyone. He knows what he's talking about. Hard grader, but gives good feedback and can redo essays. If in FYS, make sure you are ready to work. Worth it though. Take Fee.

Fee is the best!! He's a tough grader on papers, but he lets you know exactly what's on the quizzes and takes all his exam questions from them. You can tell he loves the subject and has a great sense of humor. I always looked forward to lecture.

If you're easily offended and have a persecution complex, you should avoid Fee. If you can suck it up and laugh at yourself (and everyone else,) by god TAKE HIS CLASS. He's hilarious! Stop taking his grading personally; just be really thorough in your papers. Oh, and if you take Pop Tarts to class, you'll never live it down.

BEST. TEACHER. EVER. Yeah, he's derisive and can be profane (he's probably proud of it, too), but he's just messing with you, and you'll know it. Hilarious, full of energy... a breath of fresh air from the monotony. He once reenacted a scene in Beowulf by jumping on a desk and screaming. I take his classes for the sheer fun of it.

He was pretty funny for the first couple of weeks but it got pretty tiring for me. He made us grade our own quizess and then still didn't have a grade for us. I really didn't enjoy this class as much as I thought I would. I think he is irresponsible and disorganized. Oh, and he grades papers extremely harsh for someone so lazy in teaching.

Extremely enjoyable classes. Fee is a dynamic individual, and very in tune with the student population. Do not expect an easy ride simply because he's a nice/funny guy...grading is harsh, and you've got to put in time if you expect to get good grades.

Fee is a maniac, love the guy and he loves long hair. He is really into what he teaches which absolutely SAVES the class. Boring**** but he uses accents and gets all into the juicy sexual, dirty details about literature that most teachers pretend aren't there. He grades like a nazi though - one paper that I was barely at college writing level.

History of the English language is so much fun... Fee loves this stuff and knows what he is talking about. He may be a hard paper grader, but he makes it soooo easy to study for test and quizes by telling you EXACTLY what will be on them.
