Green is super cool. One of my favorite professors I've had here. He's really funny and truly enjoys talking to students and helping us understand things. Going to class was actually enjoyable. His tests are fair and he's willing to talk things out with you if you're confused.

He has a really interesting teaching style and I feel as though I really learned the material. He also really cares for his students and wants them to do well. He can be a little sarcastic sometimes in emails and such, but I think it's good to have a professor with a sense of humor.

He is a great guy but for those people who aren't as passionate about racism as he is the class can be a struggle. In order to succeed in this class you need to like discussion because the whole class time is spent discussion and I found myself easily lost during them. The paper at the end of the semester made me want to rip my hair out.

Amazing prof. Very nice and easy to get to know. He cares deeply about each of his students(present and past) and takes the time to get to know your background if you let him. He is a great sport when it comes to messing around (outside of class) and loves to talk about anything. He is possible the BEST professor on campus

Professor Green's Race in America class is a wonderful learning experience. He has great articles and books for the class to read that will teach you a lot about life skills that you otherwise wouldn't learn in other classes. He is very helpful and knowledgeable. I encourage all Hope students to take this class.

Prof. Green is fantastic! He is always there and he makes the transition to college something completely handleable. I would have had a hard time adjusting if it wasn't for him. The class is easy if you do your reading and participate in the lectures. Phelps Scholar Program is amazing and Prof. Green is the key to its success!

Prof Green was awesome. I didn't necessarily enjoy FYS: Creating Community Together at times because it pushed my beliefs but at the end of the semester I realize that it helped me grow a lot. He puts a lot into his work and enjoys doing it. I am grateful to have had him first semester freshmen year. Thanks Prof Green!

He is a fascinating man to talk to, although I can't say the same for his classes. The subject material is interesting, and he is intelligent, but many of his classes tend to attract psuedo-intellectual students that rarely further class discussion. If you're willing to listen to idiots for 50 minutes for the opportunity to learn from Chuck, go for

He needs to work on his social skills. It bothers me that he always sits with his arms crossed and slouched over. Plus, in the Phelps IDS I feel that we always talk in cirles, our converstation topics never venture away from certian areas.
