Prof. Jackson is the best professor I have ever had. Yes his class is tough, but you need to learn to problem solve and manage your time; it's what this class is all about. During office hours he'll have you go through every step to make sure you 100% understand the material. Lowest grade yet, but I would take more classes with him in a heartbeat.

God his class was hard but it was still the best class I have ever taken. He pushes you and really stretches your mind to adapt and that was the best thing you can get out of a course. Desperately want to take another one of his classes.

Used the textbook alot (his own) that was full of typos. Expects you to show up for class. He is clear about his requirements. However, I really hate his teaching style in which when you ask a question, he answers you back with one-never a direct answer. It was really annoying.

Great guy! Sure, he's a hard grader, and I didn't do as well as I should have, but I only have myself to blame. He teaches well, and you'll definitely learn. Doesn't put up with BS. Very funny if you get to know him. If you like physics, don't pass up an opportunity to take one of his classes.
