the class focuses mainly on media and the ways people are influenced by it. The topics sound boring but Frank makes them interesting. He has a very liberal approach to teaching and leaves the class very open for debate

He is a great professor, he has adopted the european rules for attending classes therefore he doesn't make it mandatory to attend, although he makes you think and do a 12 page paper at the end of the semester he's a great Eng prof even though he is German
