I took this class online in the summer, so it was a bit more compact and tedious than the regular 16-week course. There is a midterm and final that count for about 70 percent of your grade, the other 30 comes from hw and practice tests. It will take a lot of studying, but you should pass by doing hw daily and studying the PRACTICE TESTS!!

He is a pretty easy class as long as you show up and do the homework. I didn't know there was a practice final I had to do and that didn't help me out when I took the final. My grade went from an A to a C cause of that

Dr. Titus is one of the best teachers at Lamar University. He made me like math and understand it like. His test are like the review and the homework helps you practice. MAKE SURE YOU STUDY. Also, the practice test are helpful because you know what to expect on the actual test. His lessons are clear, and if you do not understand ask questions.

The online class was very difficult for me. The lectures were old, and the material in the videos didn't always match the homework/tests. My MathLab is used, so you get unlimited tries on your homework (saved my grade). Difficult, but if you really put time and energy into teaching yourself, you'll probably do fine.

Dr. Titus is an amazing Teacher. He makes sure you understand the material at hand. If you have trouble he is easily accessible in his office for one-on-one tutoring. Would strongly recommend him if you are not strong in math.

Worst math teacher I have ever taken. He expects you to understand how to do math that you have never even seen before. You waste hours doing homework, but he never even picks it up. He is extremely confusing, I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. Do not take him or you will regret it.

This guy is crazy but is a very good instructor. Another reviewer couldn't have said it any better; "WATCH THIS GANG!!!" lol! He will go out of his way to help you, he even offers online tutoring, so if math isn't the your strongest point then he is highly recommendable.

"WATCH THIS!!!!" He says it all the time! I love Dr.T, he makes math fun and interesting. Being a Biology major he really prepared me for the more advanced classes. If you have the chance take this man! Hard tests though and lots of HW, but it will make you so much better at math!

I graduated HS 1976,and took some college courses. I returned to school in 2012 and Dr. Titus was my second year Algebra prof. I cannot tell you how I HATED MATH!!! But he was such a great professor, I was looking forward to doing the work AND GOT A B!!!! Great, dedicated, and understanding professor! I can't wait for Spring!!!

Has to be the greatest teacher I have ever had. So much passion and enthusiasm for his students and his profession. I have never had a professor go more out of his way to make sure students understood the material. He assigns a lot of homework though and will give pop quizzes only to make sure you are understanding the course work
