Assignments are challenging, but if you follow the rubrics he gives for each one youll make As. Everything you learn in this class will be something youll use in your career. Attendance isnt mandatory but youll be lost if you skip. He explains things clearly and makes it easy to understand. Overall, hes really nice and a good teacher!

He randomly yells which is kind of funny. But he can get an attitude and a smart mouth if you get on his bad side. Be on time and dont fall asleep in class. He will put you on the spot with no hesitation! Go to his office hours too because hes very specific and his directions arent always clear.

Had 2 exams & 4-5 paper grades (3 major papers & 1-2 shorter ones).Gives a detailed rubric for every assignment. Not as scary as people make him seem, although very opinionated. Gives good feedback. I feel like he yelled a lot to keep the class awake. Takes attendance & expects you to have the book in class. Loves to babble about his love of Trump.

The worst. Grades extremely tough and never willing to help, asked for it after going to the writing center and he literally said they had no idea what they were doing for help! Arrogant. Created his own course material that IS not covered with any other prof. He told a friend that she was clueless and wasting his time after asking for help. drop.

Wow! Worst teacher in the history of college! He is super hard! i still made an A but holy cow I worked my butt of for it!! The only advice I can give is take the instructions and do EXACTLY what it says i mean EXACTLY!! AND do not argue with him because "I am a doctor(loges)"

Very Difficult on assignments. Expects you to know everything he knows. Don't take class if you cant read text and understand figurative language, he loves it and thinks everyone should. Tests are ridiculous and unnecessarily detailed. If you want to worry about a class all semester then take him. Read over stories at least twice. Has bad attitude.

Took him for Technical writing. He is very quirky but he is a great teacher. He practically spells out what he expects out of all the papers he assigns in the rubric he gives. I recommend going to his office and having him proofread your paper. He doesn't mind doing this and showing him you care about your grade goes a long way with him.

I am taking this professor right now. I have a B in the class and that is because I STUDY. The powerpoints go hand in hand with the test. If you study, you will pass. The class is not hard if you actually pay attention and take notes. He even helps you on the essay and selected reading material if you go to his office. Boring class, good professor.

I took him for American lit. You have an essay type test for which you really have to study for. He gets into his material.You will actually finish the book which i have never done in any of my other classes before. He is very strict of taking role exactly when class starts .

Not an easy A!! He takes his class very seriously and expects you to do the same. Pretty hard class and I hated it the whole semester but I have to say, I really learned a lot and it helped polish my writing skills. Looking back, its one of the classes I learned the most in.

Definitely not an easy class. Attendance is mandatory. He gets a little excited sometimes and will call on you to ask a random question, so when he tells you to read the material that would be a good idea. He grades pretty hard.. but I honestly learned a fair amount from his class. Don't expect a blow off class.

He was a funny and really easy teacher. He explanes a lot in class, and as long as you pay attention in class and take notes the tests are super easy! They follow right along with his powerpoints, which are very helpful.
