Horrible Professor, DON'T TAKE HER CLASS!! 4 exams that she doesn't even cover and if she does she expects you to already know the material when clearly you don't and its the reason why your taking her class. When you go to her office hours she seems annoyed, not very helpful.

Comment:

She was a very helpful teacher in my opinion. She always made time for students to come bug her at her office for help. When she didn't know an answer off the top of her head she would look it up with the student. She wants students to succeed, but also expects that you will read the book to learn concepts. I highly recommend her.

mechanics should be hard... nobody should really expect to run away with this with an easy A regardless of the teacher this isnt to defend Professor B, she isnt always clear and she makes many mistakes. study with a group, READ the text (its damn good compared to serway and other texts)and you can expect to learn as much as you put into this class.

she is a HORRIBLE TEACHER! DO not take her a s a physics prof. Grades very hard even though she doesnt know the material herslef. 1st test more then half class got F's other half got D's. DO NOT HAVE HER AS A PHYSICS PROF!!!!!!!!

She is a great teacher and is willing to explain to great lengths to make sure you understand the subject matter . Tests are straightforward, lot's of homework, but it's needed to grasp the concepts.Prof. B. is a funny & interesting to listen to. I reccommend her for a great Physics experience!

Bochicchio knows her stuff about geology, which is apparent in her lectures. Bring the textbook to class to follow what she is lecturing... I think she forgets sometimes that the class doesn't know as much as her. She will help you out if you ask. There is a lot of extra credit you can gain from field trips. This class does require studying!!

Fustrating is probably the best way to describe her. As stated before shes a nice person, but teaching is not one of her strong points. Lectures are from a powerpoint and there is little time spent going over sample problems. Online homework is VERY difficult and it is not reviewed at all. You are pretty much on your own the way she teaches.

Nice person, but not the best teacher. Style was very non-mathematical for a preq of Calc 2, and the majority people passing were ones who'd taken the class before. Something is wrong when the only two tests before the drop deadline class of ~ 49 people average a 63 or worse.

She's a nice person, but she makes physics completely hard to understand. She uses power points straight from the book and expects students to do lab work material that hasn't even been covered in class lecture. Half the class are failing and the other half who have "A's" had taken physics 195 else where... I do not recommend her teaching physics..

Comment:

One of the best teachers I've ever had. I came to this class thinking I was totally going to fail, but I got an A. Her class consists of 5 quizzes(she drops one), a final, easy hw questions, and a few assignments. Just make sure to stay on top of things and you should get an A. Also, she offers a TON of extra credit.

This class is not easy for one. Especially if you have never taken it before. Work hard and if you don't understand the lecture you must go to outside sources of Prof B's office hours. She will strive to help you, and she is very understanding. Tests are based on the book and workbook, so reading is compulsory. Class is very interactive. Good luck!

If you are looking to learn something, look elsewhere. This teacher cannot teach you a thing about physics and she even tells you herself she has trouble with the subject. She cannot do simple kinematics problems and even entertain student's comments about the texts in the book. This class is a joke, please take physics at mesa instead!

She's a good person, but physics is not her strong point. There's not much of lecture--more like group activities. If you know physics already, easy A. If you're trying to learn...get a tutor or someone who knows how to explain better. Really nice, well-meaning lady, but not particularly knowledgeable in her teaching field.

She was really nice tried to make the class interesting. I think this is just an extremly tough subject and very few people pass so she gets rated low. You will work a lot in groups so come prepared and take advantage of the hw and lab points it's worth a whole letter grade! I thought she was funny I just think the subject is very hard.

General Geology is a very boring subject, and her lectures don't help that much. She is pretty reasonable and the class is pretty easy (you have to be an idiot or not do any work at all to not get an A or a B). Overall, prof is a nice person, but this class is nothing spectacular. Average GE expectations.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!! She tells you that her style is not to lecture. This is physics lady, you have to. My class was exactly half A's and half F's, reflection of the teacher right? She doesn't explain anything and has this expectation of your knowledge before you even start the class. The only good thing she does is group activities.
