It's a nice course but I feel like the course material doesn't prep you for the HW & HW doesn't prepare you for the exam. Once you're out of the exam hall, everything will dawn on you and you feel like you understood everything, while you screw up your grades. It's such a love hate relationship with this course. Don't take course if not mandatory!

Seems to be uncomfortable speaking but in general does a good job of presenting the material. Sometimes he rushes through his notes too fast. Homework is difficult (see the TA for help) and tests are moderate.

Very clear and passionate about fluid mechanics as evidenced by his well-prepared lectures, homeworks,and tests. He's also very helpful if you have questions. I highly recommend any of his courses.

Hardest class I have ever taken but I learned so much!!! Most of his homeworks requiere a lot of work and his test are pretty diffcicult. But again, I learned so much in his class, it's sick. Prof. Blaisdell is a really nice person, very flexible and understanding.
