Abbot is a nice guy, but he is lame. His grading is anything but good. He grades on opinions, not facts. If you don't agree with his idiotic republican views your bound to do poorly in his course. I frankly think he is a novice teacher and I haven't learned anything in his course.

Absolutely loved Abbott. He was very knowledgeable and very experienced. Had a lot of great examples and was really able to relate to the topics he was teaching which was nice. Take him if you can!!

If you get the chance, take Abbott. He is fun, interesting, and not too hard. He gives 3 take home exams, 3 WSJ articles, and 2 other assignments, and offers a few extra credit points on each one. Do every assignment and this class will not be hard. He is a great guy and willing to help everyone and explain anything.

One of the BEST PROFESSORS at S.V.S.U. I really enjoyed his class and teaching style.He taught you about the real business world and what to expect.He is extremely knowledgeable and a expertise in business.My only regret is that I only had him my senior semester.You must go to class & participate and you'll get a good grade.

Show up to class and put forth any effort, and you will get an A. He may not always seem qualified to teach, but his stories have a significant amount of real world application. Assignments can be unfocused, but he is looking for you to think independently. I would recommend taking him, as he is a smart man far beyond what is in the textbook.

Professor Abbott was perhaps one of the most helpful prof's for letting me know what I needed for the real world. GREAT CLASS! Ya don't really NEED the book though, and he does repeat his stories a few times, but I thought the class was GREAT! Definitely would take again if given the chance.
