DO NOT TAKE THIS GUYS CLASS! by far my worst class ever taken at FCC. I'm currently enrolled and i hate this class the most. His blackboard page is a disaster, assignments; a confusing mess, lectures are completely unnecessary (since the lectures are on blackboard) which makes you wonder "why isn't this an online course"

I took this course as a prereq for the MSW program at Fresno State, bear in mind I hold a BA in Psychology. This class was so over thought out and confusing. The professor ruins any grain of interest in the subject. The worst was that he presented a psuedoscience theory called, "The Secret". Way to polute the college mind even further.

UNHELPFUL.When you ask him to PLEASE be clear, his response ALWAYS is "It's on blackboard, it's on your syllabus", which does not clear anything up at all because it's the same exact instructions he gave in class. Then he makes a fool out of you in front of the whole class just for asking. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR GRADE

Took this class in fall 2010. Mr. Mattox was by far one of the worst instructor I ever had. He is unclear about the assignments. Attendance is a must, you lose points. The study did not help, just read the book. The journal assignment was so unclear, I had to do it twice to get it right. Do not take this class.

Half of every class is spent by him overexplaining directions for an assignment for the 20th time because people weren't listening. Ask him questions outside of class and it'll be clearer. Do all assignments ahead of time, do the study guides and bonuses and you'll pass. He drops 2 test scores. Final not mandatory because of that. MUST attend class

goodness,where do i start. sometimes funny, but aggravating. the assignments are very VERY unclear. blackboard is filled with unnecessary things so its difficult to find the correct assignments,papers to print. DO YOUR STUDY GUIDE! it'll help with the exams. i feel as if the lectures have little to do with the exams. constantly check on work online

The class covered a lot of material. Mr. Mattox was a good teacher. He gave several opportunities for extra credit and was always available if you needed help understanding something in his class.

impossible not to pass this lcass. I did not even do the last two journals and ended up with a B....lots of chances for extra credit. Downside, his assignments are very unclear, never knew when things were due.

I took this class because I needed it for GE. This guy lectures with humor. I liked him and his class was one of the easiest I've ever had! Compared to Physics 2A and MacroEcon1A. Heck all you had to do is show up and he gave bonus points for that! How easy do you want it! His tests were right out of text. Highly Recommended!!
