Doctor Conrad really makes you work for it. If you go to his office hours and get to know him, hes a really great guy. Even if you do poorly on an exam, there are chances to redeem yourself if you work for it. He gives a personal curve based on your effort which is awesome if you really try! It takes some hours outside of class for sure.

Dr. Conrad is an absolute legend. This class is not free. If you show up, participate, and do your work you will pass. If you show up and be an idiot on your phone in class he not only will call you out on it, but remember it when he is grading. This is the only course at this university I have felt a sense of accomplishment after.

He didn't expect any of us to have a clue about economics, but then expected us to become experts in the topic the next day. His classroom environment is uncomfortable in my opinion. I would not say he is a good professor. I might as well read the book during his class period instead of attending his lecture. I did not learn well from him.

Even though I wasn't a big fan of this class or professor, I couldn't help but respect him. He really does know his econ more than anyone else I know. He'll make you work for your grade, but if you show you're making an effort, his grading is more lenient.

If you enjoy economics and being challenged, this professor will be right for you. If you're looking to slack your way through the class you should definitely look elsewhere.

This class is horrible. If econ isn't your thing you are going to find it hard to stay awake. I the man is a cool guy when you get off topic but during lecture he will put you right to sleep. The exams are very hard so you MUST prepare well. I think he means well, he will try to help and curves tests a lot! so that is nice!

He expects you to know everything. His class is very demanding and if you are not interested in econ you will be miserable. He is boring and you much attend class if you want to do at least decently well.

I'm not sure where to begin. His lectures don't help at all. His exams/quizzes/workbooks aren't from the current book and terms are outdated. He treats people within the classroom with very little respect, but expects extreme respect in return. He expects you to learn from a few graphs he draws on the board. Terrible prof. The worst I've had.
