Like every accounting class at CMU, this class is hard and will require a lot of studying outside of class. Damitio is very nice/clear and is willing to help and explain. Exams are hard, 65% averages. Just study a little every day and don't fall behind.

What a great man! He makes things relatable with real-life examples. However, even he said that the textbook was a terrible choice (hopefully he changed it). Utilize his office hours!!! He has logical ways of explaining things and gives you tips and tricks for future work/exams. He will help you out, especially if you show initiative and hard work.

Decent professor. His lectures are half way useful, you can usually walk out understanding the material but that does not cut it for the tests. You must really know the material for the tests, he over complicates everything on the tests. Get ready to study and you will pass, he curves final grades as well.

He is one of the nicest profs I have had at CMU. He knows not everyone is going into accounting and tries to make it as simple as possible. Im not good at ACC and he did his best at explaining material/working on homework in class/reviewing/a few quizzes he usually tells you about/ and exams are kinda difficult if you dont study or show up to class

Dr. D is a decent professor. The class is very difficult for most people, but he goes to great lengths to help if you're actually going to try. He is a bit full of himself, which can be annoying at times. You will need to dedicate a lot of time to this class in order to get a good grade; he makes you work for it. I believe there is a slight curve.

Great guy. He loves accounting and loves teaching which is more than I can say for many of my professors. I didn't do as well in his course as I would have liked to, but that was not at all his fault. You really need to read before class and get help when you need it. Stay on top of your game or you could fall really far behind and catching up is not easy.

He is a really great professor who truly cares about your success as a student. Accounting is not a subject that really comes easy to me nor does it peak my interest however Dr. Damitio really found a way to make the course material seem practical and interesting. Even though his tests are difficult, he always is clear about what will be on them.

Damitio is a good teacher, but this is a hard class, so expect to work for your grade. He wants you to read and do the homework before you start the chapter in class. Classes are him teaching the material through a homework problem. Exams are very hard and there is no study guide. He does curve grades at the end of the semester.

He is a great professor. He goes over the homework the classes before it is due (it is recommended to do before or just write down answers to self check later). His exams are pretty tough, mostly multiple choice with some calculating problems. Very helpful and very entertaining. Has a lot of real life experience.

Very nice guy. Makes the class interesting and fun so definitely go to class. Goes over homework before it's due so it's easy to get the homework points. Let's you know some of the exam questions but exams are pretty difficult.

Easily the worst professor I had at CMU. He doesn't teach and goes like half over examples but misses the important information. He basically kicked me out of office hours after giving me a lecture about reading which i did. Proud of his 60-70 average on tests. Only take this class if you want to go into accounting and can teach yourself the info.

Do all the hw from the start. He grades hw on correctness too so you have to actually put some time into it, or turn to the magical internet for the answer (recommended). Turn in all your hw w/ correct answers and he will bump your grade up a little more than you deserve for the effort. Exams are pretty tough. Always gives a hint to exam problems

rude. Answer to ever single question, "well did you read the book?" "i believe its in the book" "have you checked the book?" Yes, I have read the book a million of times because he cannot communicate well to students and understand what they are asking. uses power points provided by textbook. does not each, belittles students when asking questions

Material was difficult for me, and the 90% of your grade is from 4 exams. Not much credit for homework. He is a nice guy and is interested and knowledgable in accounting. Gives real world examples and tries to keep class interesting. Go to class and do the homework. Doesn't use blackboard at all.
