My worst professor. Yells at students, pounds the desk and answers cell during class, and is generally very angry. It has a custom textbook available only at the campus store, and access to SAM online (for only one module). She made a mandatory seating chart for attendance so we couldn't move. I was never sure how much grade assignments were worth.

Dr. Williams is a passionate teacher who truly cares about her students. But I must admit, her class puts me to sleep. Show up, do your work (ON TIME), and you'll do fine.

Show up to class and you'll pass. The material is super easy. She talks more about her life and how she wants you to pass than she does the actual material. She is 100% upfront that she does not make the tests so you'll have to read the book to pass those. She talks really loud and you really do need to show up to class and participate.

Nothing discussed during class is on the exams. It is all in the book. With that, she keeps track of attendance and grades participation. She talks more about her family than she does about CIS. I value my time, so I would not take this course again.

I took Williams Systems A&D course in Spring 2015. To me it was the biggest joke I have taken in my 4 years here. 75%+ of her lectures are personal stories generally involving husband/children/church that do not relate to material at all. An easy course, but you will not learn much.

Does nothing except talk about family and personal stories. It's hard to tell if she even knows the class material when she actually does talk about it (which is rarely ever).

She is very good professor! I took her many times and have enjoyed every class. She does get off topic a lot but its always funny and interesting stories. She always has answers to your questions and is easy to go to when you need help. She is a very real and already great person that actually seems to care about her students.

Very bad instructor. My only B at USI is because of her. She never lectured ounce, but instead, told personal stories every class period, for the whole class period. She grades essays extremely critically. She is very nice and loves her students. However, she can't teach, and is literally the worst instructor I have ever had.

First of all she's CIS not CS and Like everyone says she is nice. But a nice teacher well thats debatable. Tests didnt really match the material. but then again most of the material was irrelevant story time. The class had two really ignorant "scheduled" assignments that were 3-5 page papers that she grades CRITICALLY. directions are confusing.

This was her first time teaching this class and it shows. She spent very little time on the material. She's a nice lady, but you shouldn't take this class with her if you know anything about computers at all. I'm CS and I already knew most of the material, it really was a mistake on shemroske's part to put me in the class.

First time teaching this class at USI. Unorganized. Always got off point and wants critical thinking which is really another word for BS in her papers. Had Tableau teach us half of the semester. Very nice and smart but a waste of $700. Final exam was more of an accounting problem instead of a CIS one. Bring back health informatics!

I should have gotten an A... if I put a single ounce of true effort in this class. I got a B+ and never studied for the tests and maybe read a total of 50 pages from the entire book. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I am a CS major - never took the class serious..

Took her online class during the summer. Assignments are relevant. Moderate workload. Study the slides that she gives and you'll do fine. She's very friendly and I got a lot out of her video lectures. One of the better USI CIS professors.

Attendance is not "mandatory" but she does take attendance daily and participation does weigh on your grade. She's an excellent professor and extremely helpful! She is one of the few professors willing to go above and beyond for her students! If at all possible, TAKE HER FOR ANY AND ALL CLASSES!!

She is very friendly. Reading the text is critical because four papers must be turned in based on readings. She gets off topic fairly easily but ends up back on topic. Not enough time available to fully cover the lecture due to the off-topic detours. She expects "critical thinking" in her papers. Class participation is a MUST to get a good grade.

Excellent Professor! I highly recommend her. Uses the book through out the class. PAY ATTENTION AND READ CHAPTERS OR YOU WILL NOT GET THE TESTS!!! Tests are based on readings and lectures. 3 tests and three papers.
