Call presents mostly slideshows but he prints out every slide for you so u can actually engage in the lesson. Lots of extra credit. study guides are VERY similar to test. NO PHONES. can be understanding about attendance if he sees you care about the class. if u don't pass, u didn't try at all. he is a great guy! wants u to pass :)

Comment:

Dr. Call is a great professor. His lecture are inspirational and he tells many patient stories (anonymous). One can tell Dr. Call is experienced and enjoys teaching. There are many possibilities of extra credit AND he hands out a study guide that contains exactly the questions for the test. The PIRC will give all the answers for the test!

Comment:

Dr. Call is a very knowledgeable and caring man, who is very easy to talk to. Gives good, interesting lectures and is willing to explain stuff more succinctly after class. He is always willing to talk to students. I am really glad I took him, as he was a great intro to psychology.

Comment:

If you like sitting in a lecture hall and listening to an older professor talk about his life for almost 2 hours, this is the class for you. Very easy class, the study guide is exactly like the exams. Very very boring and the professor will call you out for reading a book, checking your phone, or having a laptop out to take notes.

Class is based off of powerpoint lectures which can be boring at times. He is very knowledgeable about what he is teaching, and is glad to answer any questions. Does not tolerate electronic use, and is strict on attendance. Other than that just show up, do your study guide ;), and you will get an A in this class guaranteed.

Hes amazing! Lectures are straight from power points (might put you to sleep) but overall its tolerable. He does not put up with electronical use at all! But hes a really nice teacher and the study guides are the test. All answers are on quizlet. Memorize and test. Youll get an A. Lots of extra credit opportunities

Funny guy, gives you the actual test to take home and study. Literally googled the answers and memorized the material for every test. Super easy just time consuming. Lots of extra credit so a passing grade should be in your reach with some effort.

Dr. Call is awesome! He literally does everything he can to allow his students to pass. The test is ridiculously easy. You'll learn why. Very strict on phones and attendance is important, not to pass but to get credit and not get dropped. You have online assignments to do, but they are super easy. 11/10.

Dr. Call is a very funny person! His lectures are very interesting and you can tell he really likes psychology. Gives some extra credit opportunities. The tests are easy if you study the book and the reviews. Review packets are almost exactly like the tests. There is some homework online which consists of videos. Show up to class or get dropped.

This class is incredible, he uses PowerPoints in all his lectures and give you a copy with line next to for any notes. He is strict of attendance and will drop you after a certain amount of days absent. However, is willing to speak and negotiate. He will give you a study guide with practically the same test on it. Trust me this class is worth it.(:

Dr. Calls class was mostly lecture based. I thought the class was super interesting. The fact that Dr. Call also had his own practice for many years means he has some pretty cool stories. When it comes time for the study guide you will need your book to do that. Show up, Do the study guide and study, and you will get an A!

Class was extremely boring. You show up, watch a lecture, and leave. He knows psychology well, but the class was dry enough to fall asleep in. Most of the grading was by exams, but there were opportunities for extra credit from watching videos or doing other assignments.

Comment:

Everyday is a lecture from a powerpoint. Boring. Takes attendance very seriously and very strict on electronic policy or if not paying attention. Though all the reviews (give a week ahead) is the test. Do them and you'll pass the tests and class easily.
