His class was pretty much the equivalent of a history class but did consist with alot about what you expect with a geography class. He gives students alot a chances to boost up grades and his exames are not that difficult. Attend class for it does consist of alot of note taking that you will need to pass.

I loved this class. He's a funny guy and really chill. He requires the textbook but doesn't use too much from it, it's pretty much all from his lectures. Lectures are a nice pace because he writes on the board, though sit in the front to decipher his handwriting. He gives bonus points on quizzes, which are easy if you attend class and pay attention

Dr. Benhart is a nice guy and easy going. His class was enjoyable and interesting. He is not one to use powerpoint but instead writes down notes on the board which can sometimes suck, sense he's hand writing sucks. Having him as a teacher is an advantage to pass that class but one needs to read the book and show up for class.

Dr. Benhart is a really nice and funny guy. His approach is interesting, but hard to adjust to at first. The assignments he gives are not hard, but he holds sort of high expectations with your finished maps and assignments. His tests are also kind of hard...learn to write very, very fast! Overall, a really good class. Take him for sure!

Passionate professor who does all he can to inform and motivate students, even at 8AM. He really knows his stuff, there is a lot that he will talk about. Try not to fall asleep in the morning classes! Exams are relatively easy and he does give bonus opportunities. I would take another class of his.

He reminds of the football player in high school who never went on to anything greater, and so all he has is football glory. He's condescending, not horribly considerate, not particularly helpful. His directions are vague, and doesn't clarify well. I was really interested in GIS, but I don't know if I want to take any more GIS classes.

go to class! he's knows his stuff and enjoys it. His bi-weekly quizes aren't that bad, just make sure you take them. He is soo hot for an older prof.! I would deffinately take him again (not just because he's attractive, because of the course content)

The first half of the semester was boring, all lecture. The second half of the semester we played on the computer. His explainations for how things are done were vague. However, you're allowed to work with others to complete graded projects. The portfolio requirement helped me land a decent first job. Thanks johnny!

His tests are multiple choice and essay, and the biweekly quizzes are short-answer. As long as you go, you should do well with minimal studying. He's funny, but he doesn't like classes with poor attendance or low participation. If you take the initiative, he's more than willing to help you succeed.

VERY nice guy! I struggled a bit with the class, but I studied hard for the last few quizzes and tests and got a B. If you go to class, pay attention, and take good notes you will be just fine. He is very nice, and makes class interesting.

If you need to take a geo class, take his!!!Go to class, take notes, study for bi-weekly quizes and you should be fine.Test are not that hard, and a grade of B or higher shoould appear on your academic record..Isn't that awesome :)

All you have to do is write down what he says in class. Study that and get good grades. Doesn't use the book at all, it was a waste of money. Not too concerned with students though. he does get mad if attendence is low. Bi weekly quizzes are gimme points.

Benhart was probably my FAVORITE professor this semester. Gives very good notes and his bi-weekly quizzes (which are easy) are helpful study guides for the exams.
