Pretty boring and grouchy man. Missed class a couple of times. Very picky over which art work he likes and grades pretty hard. Will give you a lower grade if you dont use his expensive paint. Gets annoyed when you ask him questions. Dont miss class or youll fall behind.

best teacher ever you will learn more from him than any other about details if you stick with it- he expects a lot but gives a lot - was a teacher - friend - mentor - he is an outstanding perfectionist and expects the very best - terrific - you will be fortunate to have had him as your teacher !!!

He follows the rules like his life depended on it. Then again, you need to know the rules to break them. I doubt he breaks them though. He's really strict and firm and he grades works by their quality and not the student's improvement or capacity. He's not a people person. I would admit though that I had learned quite a bit form him.

Mr. Bavaro can be at times a bit grouchy but I really learned a lot in his class. He teaches great color theory and it seemed to me he gets irritated with students who don't come to class prepared. I wouldn't pass up taking this class based on the posts in this site. If you take this class just have all your supplies and sketches ready.

A very nice man, obviously very taken with his subject matter but completely incapable of conveying information in any useful manner. Bad time management a lot of material was never covered. Perpetually late for Class and always borrowing supplies.

Far too picky and too much into his own drawing and methods. Not very helpful. Will ignore you if you sit in the back even if it's not your fault. Boring and dissapointing. All you learn is how to draw perfect lines and squares. If you are interested in drawing, take a teacher that is more genuine and actually cares about students.

This teacher would show late everyday of the semester. He was rude, and could care less about your comments. In his class we had to make a PERFECT cube, out of handcrafted cardboard. Moreover, the long hours of sanding down pieces of styrophoam, were backbraking. Please avoid at all costs. Look for another alternative.

Do not take this class. You can take 3D Design at Pierce, or CSU, etc- for the bacherlor of arts requirement. He is disrespectful and unclear about assignments. Class extremely physical in terms of exertion- manual wood carving. No student choice of 3D medium at all. Take class elsewhere, this teacher should retire as he clearly hates his job.

WoW! could have been an interesting elective if not for the stress of NEVER knowing how I was progressing. In other words, if you want to know how you're doing, you won't find out until grades are issued, but you will know if he is unhappy. He is unclear, a bit rude and seems to have absolutely no concern for your welfare. Steer clear.

He is very thorough on the projects and extremely detail oriented. If you like someone looking over your shoulder consistently and changing your work to make it reflect his own then go for this class. As long as you show up, shut up, and do everything he says you will get an A but, as far as creativity goes as an artist....Forget it!

Yes, he can be dull, but seemed like an easy grader. I even left out 2 assignments from the design class and still got an A. Be prepaired to buy two $20 (little) tubes of paint that you're probably never going to use again after taking the class. There is no way around that (I tried). He's only harsh if you're not prepaired for class.

he is pritty hard to pass because he is very picky its not that he doesnt want you to be creative he he teaching you the bases of designing and harmony in the space your working. he has to be stricked and critesis your work so. he lets you turn in work even when its late. and yes he hates HATES!!! but you will learn the basics of designing for sure
