Comment:

She doesn't seem to care about her students or even to like her job. Her tests are difficult and brutally graded. No notes, formula sheets, or calculators. We were expected to memorize over 70 formulas on top of the logic and arithmetic required for the problems. I'll grant that calculus is a difficult class but she certainly did nothing to help.

She considers her job ONLY to lecture, and quickly grows hostile if you ask more than a few questions. Pray you have kind classmates to help you, because she'll flat out refuse to explain anything she thinks you should already know.

She's nice as long as you don't expect her to explain anything. After my first couple of questions, she quickly became very rude and hostile... I was scared to ask her anything. Many of her quizes are worth 0 credit if you get less than 80%; as if a 50% wasn't bad enough. If you're the type who struggles with math, avoid her!!!

Incredibly helpful and understands that beginner math students don't speak "math nerd talk." If you have to take a math class, and she is available to teach it, TAKE IT WITH HER!!!!!! She is a wonderful teacher!!! Do it!!!

CONS: No calculators or formula sheets allowed on her tests. Not enough time to go back and check your work on tests. Lectures quickly, too fast for taking good notes. PROS: nice person, sets aside some class time for "review" before a test.
