I know Dr. Kane is retired, but she should know that that she was one of the very best professors in the English dept. at Westfield. I graduated 30 years ago, I'm hard pressed to remember ANY of my professors, but Dr. Kane stands out in my mind as passionate, articulate, and demanding. One of the few who had a a lasting impact on me.

Grade is based on: 40% midterm, 40% paper, 20% participation yet the class is a lecture class. Does not allow makeups or give students copies if they miss class. I had to have emergency surgery and she would not give me what I missed which was on midterm.
