Maggie is amazing. She'll challenge you to achieve all that you can in Spanish, and has got your back the whole way. She's been so helpful to me, as both a student and an advisee. I cannot recommend highly enough-- if you get the chance, take a class with her!

I love this woman! This class was tough but I learned so much and because of her, I am considering a Linguistics concentration. She is passionate, engaging and fun. She wants you to succeed. She is a fair grader, and a wonderful person. I think that if you are taking Spanish, you have to take a class with her!

By far one of the best profs in the department. Linguistics is SO interesting and it is obvious that she has so much knowledge on the subject she even has to hold back. People say she is a hard grader, but I always did well on her tests. If you are good at memorizing you should have no problem with her tests. She is super easy to talk to!

Extremely tough grader. Don't expect to see your stuff (homework/exams/etc.) for at least a month, or maybe never. Assigns a ton of reading every night, so be prepared to spend a lot of time on her class. Very knowledgeable on linguistics but tends to talk over the students' heads with terminology she knows so well and we don't. Really nice person.
