Comment:

Well, I know a lot of kids didn't like her, but I thought she was fine. She liked participation in class. She didn't explain the problems before she had us work them out (which was a little frustrating) but then we did review some of them together in class. Clearly she cares about her students and tries to help. Class is very group-oriented.

I had this teacher for 152 and I really liked her. However, she was TERRIBLE for 201. She took off points on our lessons for the most ridiculous things, she told us our lessons wouldn't work and then the kids were exactly at the level we thought they would be. I barely pulled a B and I am getting a math endorsement in education. Ridiculous.

HORRIBLE TEACHER!!!! She takes off points for everything, she rambles on about nothing related to math and doesn't actually DO any teaching. I liked her for 152 but she completely changed for 201. It's embarrassing that this is a teaching math class and she is one of the worst teachers I have ever had. I preferred 130 to having her for 152 so I thi

Assigns lots of papers that have nothing to do with math. Takes off points for everything. Not prepared and not helpful. Overall if you like to know how you are doing in a class do not take her. You will write 25 papers before she hands back one so dont even think you will be able to improve your grade because you have no idea what it will be.

Very helpful teacher, explained things more than once if needed. But very clear in what she wanted. A test every couple of weeks with HW between those tests, as long as you do the HW alittle bit between the tests you will get a B. Also a paper due about studetns you observed at metcalf, but you are given enough time to do it, and she grades it easy

horrible class in general- this prof gave tons of writing, few guidelines, won't give anything back til the end of the semester, class meetings were pointless, easy to lose points, talks about her kids too much, and generally made me hate math more (overall the class is still better than 130)

O'Malley is awesome. She is my favorite teacher this semester. She is very nice and helpful if you need it. She has a good sense of humor too. I would definitely recommend her if you have to take this class.

O'Malley is an awesome teacher! She's very helpful whenever you need it and she clarifies problems in class very well. I've never been very good at math, but this class makes it seem easy. Definitely recommend her if you have to take this course!

Mrs. O'Malley is an outstanding teacher. Not only does she discuss math content, but she also discusses classroom management, and general tips for being a teacher. The class is a lot of work, but it is for all professors. Take her if you can!!!
