Lots of homeworks, quizzes, assignments, and 3 exams. Going to his lectures is very helpful and so are the labs. Practicing problems are your best bet to make it through the exams or get some old ones to practice with. He also does exam corrections to help your grade out.

Wikipedia is a better prof. Tests too hard!! If you have the chance dont take. teaches class too quickly. show up to class always just in case pop quiz, even though in class its hard to understand what he teaches. 2 good things: good examples in class, gives giant curve on test. you feel like you dont know physics at all. dont believe other ratings

Dr. Ross is not only the best professor on campus, but a great person. He has been an inspiration to me. Although the subject is tough, he doesn't make you overthink the problems and relates them to the real world. He would be the top physics professor on YouTube if he recorded his lectures.

Dr. Ross is very passionate about what he teaches. Although attendance isn't mandatory, I would go to every class because he often gives pop quizzes, which are mostly group quizzes or take home. He will give you partial points if you write anything down, even if your answer is completely wrong. On your midterm and final he lets you use a note card.

Although attendance isn't mandatory, his tests are based off of the lectures. You can study the book and it will not help much. He will work with you during class or office hours to ensure you completely understand the content. One of my best classes and favorite professor yet.

He's an extremely nice guy and really knows how to teach. The best part about his class is that he applies physics to real world examples. He often hints exam questions, although he is very difficult to predict. Great overall professor.

Awesome teacher. You will actually understand physics. Gives a lot of quizzes but you can usually work together on them. Tests are hard but his grading is more than fair. Idk how the final grades work but if you average a B you'll get an A. Love this guy!!!!!!!

Great Professor. Exams are EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. When you go to class ABSORB Everything. This Exams are so hard that he always gives your the ability to correct them. Also the Ross Factor is bigger than you think. Calculate your score and you will see that your final grade letter is higher.
