Comment:

I was nervous to take Statistics, seeing as I never had before. Steven made it a great experience. He knows the material so well that he could clearly answer any questions we had. This class is set up with a lot of "practice tests". While it takes a lot of time, I found it very effective in helping me really understand the material.

Comment:

He has you do a quiz, vocab on quizlet as well as homework for every homework assignment and BESC homework already takes a good hour to do. What he had us do very helpful and it helped me understand the terms rather than just knowing the computational part. He is a great teacher and is dedicated to helping you understand. Take this class!!

Easy A. I had troubles in the beginning with the wrong Connect course, and he extended my deadline automatically and was very understanding. Uses the 1st edition book which was helpful because it was cheap! No tests *gasp!* but lots of reading. Perfect online class, I learned a ton. Wish there were lectures. A few weeks behind in grading.

DO NOT TAKE HIS BESC 3010 COURSE!! I'm a straight A student and I have never had such a bad instructor! His grading is complete BS. He doesn't prep students for exams. Everyone in the class was averaging D's and F's on ALL exams. NO JOKE!! I would never recommend this professor.

I never took stats before this class and I did just fine. He is more than willing to explain, and re-explain the concepts. It's not too hard, but some people find it is. Overall, I recommend you take this class from him. I got 90s on most my exams, and didn't find myself being overworked.

Professor Clark is AWESOME. He is SO willing to help and tries his hardest to make tough statistical concepts easier to swallow. Expect a good amount of study time for exams and do the homework and exam reviews. I was so grateful to him for EXPLAINING the concepts and expecting us to understand them...to use our brains, not just our calculators!

If you attend class, and do the HW, this class is a breeze. I stink at math, and actually felt I did well in his class. He is super nice, and wants you to understand. He uses clear concise examples and is willing to answer questions and make sure everyone understands before moving on. MC questions on tests are confusing, so study the work book.

Really great teacher. He knows what he is talking about, and he explains it very well. He is really helpful if you have questions. Four easy tests; he gives you what you need to know before the test. Attendance is not mandatory, but you will probably need to go to make sure you understand. Dont buy the textbook, just the studyguide workbook.

Prof Clark is such a nice guy. Very clear and concise. Tries hard to relate the material in a palatable way- extremely patient and easy going. Low on busy work. Attend if u wanna do well tho. Tests can seem tricky- even if u feel u know the math/concepts. DO the homework & chapter review ?'s he gives, you'll be fine. Great guy, good class.

I did not like Clark for a teacher,You want to fall asleep in class, think of him like the "Dry Eye guy". You cant miss any class, and if you are even a min late for class, he will not accept ur hw. My GPA IS A 3.6 and this is the first class I have ever failed. I studied weeks in advance for this class. Good Luck

Great teacher, explains concepts really well. Gives at least two examples for everything you learn. Tests are kinda hard because you have to know the concepts as well as how to work out the problems computationally. However, if you study and come to class, you will most likely get a good grade.

I struggle with stats regardless of the teacher. But Steve is excellent at explaning and helping each student to do their best. He will help you whenever you need it and he gives you all the things you will need to be successful. If you have to take stats take it from him.
