Comment:
Koutsoukos is a good professor who cares about his students. He is very straightforward in lecture and with assignments. It sometimes feels like we don't cover that much material in class, but other than that, a very good professor.

Best professor i've ever had at Texas A&M. He truly cares about you as a student, and will go out of his way to help you with practice questions, after class reviews, and before test study sessions! I got an A and i'm terrible at math, if you dedicate some effort he will make sure you pass!

Comment:
Prof Koutsoukos' Deep Learning class is very easy. The assignments are easy and straightforward to code. There is one midterm worth 30% and one project worth 30% of final grade but both are very easy. Overall a very easy subject and class. Koustoukos is a nice guy although his lectures can be dry. He is also an easy grader.

This is a really good class to take for CS Depth credit if you're a CS major. The tests are very clear and not too difficult if you understand the material and go to the review session. Definitely recommend.

He is a great teacher, although his lectures can be boring, he makes it very clear what he expects from you. Most of the grade comes from the homework. And during the lecture (if you pay attention) he basically gives out the answers to the homework. Very good experience, I highly recommend taking his computer engineering module.

Great teacher. He's never condescending when you ask him a question that you know is beneath elementary to someone as smart as him. Always respectful and he'll learn your name even though you're only in his section for a month. Clearly lists out everything he requires. Glad I had him as my introduction to engineering, sad his section is over.

Had him for the freshman CompE module. He's a fairly easy professor and knows his stuff, but like the other raters have said, he's extremely boring. However, the homework he comes up with is rather practical and interesting once you get past his mundane lectures.

(Fall 2010) Had him for the CompE module of ES 140. Impossibly boring lectures, but if you pay attention, he literally gives you the answers to the homework. You have several quizzes, but none of them end up counting toward your grade. Incredibly easy A.

Nice guy, but very concerned with his appearance in front of the class. He won't admit he made a mistake. If it is unavoidable, a mistake was made, but it was't his fault. Easy assignments, easy A, boring lectures. Won't post hmwk before it is assigned.
