Professor Bose is amazing. I've generally been struggling really badly this semester (to the point where I've met with all of my professors to tell them this), and Bose has basically encouraged me to participate in my classes again. You do have to put in a lot of work, but he truly cares about his students, so it's worth it!

Awesome professor! Goes over the theory and motivations for the stuff we're doing in class, and still has time to go over problems. He sent us emails throughout the semester updating us on the course, and with stuff we went over in class, so he was very engaging with the students. Prof. Bose never left a question unanswered!! 10/10

A great professor. Would definitely take him again. This year, the coordinator for Diff-Eq changed and a lot of students were unhappy with the commons and the final. Our class mostly scored above the average. If you invest effort and interest into learning the material in his class, you should be all right. He also responds to emails, which is nice

Honestly? He's the best professor at NJIT and not much else needs to be said. Math 227 itself had a lot of interesting material, that was made even more interesting by Professor Bose's passion to teach.

study extremely thoroughly for exams. you can't skate by in this class. he gave an extra credit project to raise grades on the midterm after people did terrible but it didn't help much.

if you need help go to his office hours, great 1v1 . this is math major class, and sometimes the material gets a bit "out there" if you're not a math major. but i'd recommend if you're going that applied mathematics route, or if you're an EE or CoE. Bose is a solid professor. great choice. difficult class in my opinion.

Bose is an amazing professor. I would take him for any math class. He is clear and to the point. He gives many examples, and his tests are from his lectures. All-in-all he's fantastic.

Professor Bose is one of the, if not THE, best math professors at NJIT. He is incredibly clear in explaining difficult concepts and genuinely wants his students to do well. If you put in the hard work, you will do well in his classes. His exams are challenging but fair. I would take ANY class with him, that's how amazing he is!

Professor Bose is an amazing teacher. He is very theoretical so be prepared for proofs... but he explains things very clearly, has great english, and is always willing to explain things over if you do not understand a topic. His exams are challenging though.

Really helpful, he's probably one of my favorite professors. Definitely cares about his students. He's brilliant, but not awkwardly so like the rest of NJIT's professors; he gets his point across clearly and knows what he's doing.

Bose is a great professor. You will rarely find a professor on his level or even better. His English is great, he's genuinely excited about teaching, and he goes beyond the material. So far, he's talked about sets, differential equations, n-dimensional space, and always about the applications of calculus in his course. His expectations are high.
