She tries to make the course interesting. She jumps around alot and is a bit of a scatterbrain. You must study the book and handouts to do well. 3 multiple choice/true false tests and a reflection paper. Not an easy A but is an interesting course.

Comment:

Good class, and I ended up enjoying most of the required readings. Pretty easy class, you have quizzes pretty frequently, but she gives you all the material you need to know-you just need to study it before hand. She's really genuinely a nice person. A little eccentric and scatter-brained at times, but it just made the class more interesting.

WONDERFUL woman!! She is extremely compassionate and nice and is hilarious!! Definitely enjoyed going to her class. She is very positive and fun! As long as you read the chapters before each test you will do great. Not a hard class! She writes very clear notes on the board and explains everything thoroughly. Would definitely recommend her!!

I took Human Sexuality as an elective. Godow is a nice woman, but very quirky. The class is pretty easy and not much work. Tests can be kind of hard--make sure to read the textbook chapters! The only grades are 3 tests and a final, and three 2 page papers about your personal experiences...Easy A's and graded Pass/Fail. Would recommend for elective.

Number one she doesn't know how to teach. She can't communicate. Her methods make you feel like you are in high school. She will make you more and more frustrated by her lack of ability to explain anything, and studying for her final is ridiculous. In fact studying for her final is like her brain in that there is no method to it.

WGST::CA-RA-ZAY!! Okay, so this lady is kinda scattered brain; but really nice!!! She is VERYYYY understanding, and is truly interested in what she's teaching. She is extremely CHILL. Her quizzes are some-what difficult. You HAVE to study for them bc she asks specific dates and random names. If ya need a humanity-take her class!!!!!

Godow is an excellent professor. She makes the class interesting by explaining case studies from her tremendous experience as a sex therapist. Never a dull moment! Tests are extremely easy, so if you are looking for an easy class, this is it, although it really is an interesting course and I would recommend it with her regardless.

great lady! so cute and funny. knows a lot about sex since she is also a sex therapist outside of class. goes out of her way to make sure everyone is understanding what she is saying. Tests are a little difficult because you have to read the chapters and study the notes, not an easy A but definitely worth taking!

A very open, talkative person that tends to go off on a tangent in her lectures, but encourages discussion. The tests cover both lecture and textbook so you have to keep up with the 'assigned' chapters. Overall enjoyable class and teacher. Recommended for those who love to talk about sex.

I loved Godow. She knows a lot about human sexuality (she is a sex therapist). She tells great examples from the work she has done with patients. Her tests are all multiple choice and true false with one easy paper about the falling in love experience. She gives study guides and posts notes on WebCT. Interesting lady and class was never boring

This lady is crazy, stays up real late, wakes up real early and is hyperactive during class. but she is entertaining and very nice. i would recommend her as a freshman, because you never know what she will do, but you have to have an open mind because you will end up talking about sex everyday.
