I took Orality of Poetry and I was happy to find out that there would be NO poetry analysis classes. This class is meant for you to experience poetry through someone. There were only about 4 papers, a couple poetry readings, and light reading. It'll be a class that'll destress you. He'll talk a lot and sometimes he talks a lil 2 much bout himself

I LOVE, LOVE, Bruce! He cares about his students! He was my advisor as well, he gave great advice! He loves what he does! He is the BEST teacher ever! this summer will be his last! so sad to see him go.

Horrible teacher! He has his favorite students (i.e. you play a sport for UNM, and can get him free tickets) and if you aren't one of them, be prepared for a lot of rude little quips. He also talkes about inappropriate things during class which I found highly unprofessional. All around, he is a disaster of a professor.

Bruce is an execellent instructor. He takes the time to help his students with words of encouragement to do their best. His lectures are very interesting and to the point. So, as a result, I learned a lot. I highly recommend students to take additional courses that he teaches.
