Cindy is a truly amazing professor. She is caring, make class engaging, and is very passionate about the material. It was a joy to come to class. Make sure you read the textbook and take notes- maybe with a partner. You get what you put into the class.

CLC has made it very easy to get into my first Com class. She's engaging, funny, caring, kind, and helpful. You never feel left out or left behind. She cracks jokes with her students and makes sure you know what you need to do for the project you're working on. By far my favorite Prof. here so far. I would take many, many more classes with her.

CLC is one of the kindest, most caring, and overall best professors at Concordia. She makes class interesting with interactive activities but also really teaches the material well. She is open to new ideas in class and gives fantastic, helpful feedback. She makes it relatable to real life situations and keeps the class engaged. Absolutely love her!

Comment:

She is one of the kindest professors at Concordia. She doesn't care if you aren't good at giving speeches, she just wants to see you approve throughout the semester. As long as you do better each speech and make the time limit you'll be fine. Her tests are straight forward from the book. If you can take her class DO IT!

As a speech class, this was fine. The speeches were clear cut, but the tests were unreasonable. The material was not covered in class, and thus it was on the students to read for tiny details in the book. And, sometimes we took the chapter tests after we gave speeches on the material, so the tests weren't helpful. The group project was the worst.

Dr. Larson is one of the best teachers that I have came to know so far. She is always happy and joyous. In time of need she is always there to help you overcome any difficulties you may face. Dr. Larson has this amazing ability to retain attention from all her students during the whole class. She really helped me improve my public speaking skills.

This woman is a wonderful person!!! She reminds me of my grandma, and she is super helpful and understanding about everything. She's always got a smile on her face and sometimes she brings in her little dog Chaplin! I DEFINITELY recommend her!!!

I highly recommend taking your oral comm class from cindy if possible! she is a terrific teacher and is very understanding and allows the class to have fun. a little tougher on tests than i expected, but overall very easy going and a wonderful professor.

Cindy is one of the kindest people I have ever met in my life. She is so incredibly helpful and wonderful. She is also my advisor - both my academic advisor, and my life advsior. She is what has gotten my through college in one piece.
