You get the feeling that she does not want to be in the room. You also get the feeling that she demands too much. Honestly, she's the type that wants you to learn on your own and to speak with her directly when you have questions. Take her blunt commentary and see her during office hours and you WILL learn enough to survive the course

Coron is incredibly condescending, does not give any direction for labs and actually shames you in front of the whole class when you ask a question. She primarily just reads off the slide and gives unreasonably short times to complete labs. The course is extremely difficult and she will not help you with it.

Coron often gave tests and quizzes prior to teaching the material on the tests. She would assign labs without explaining how to do them and would miss grade people's work. She doesn't answer questions and it's alway your fault if you don't understand. Use the academic sucess center if you have her, you'll need it.

The material is difficult and she'll make you feel like your dumb. But she does a huge diservice to students who genuinely want to learn the material. She's vague on her expectations and grading. Her method of teaching is to come unpreparedlate and wing it with no underlying structure. If your confused, just pray. Don't try teaching yourself.

Prepare to use google a lot. She doesn't test you on material you covered in class. Seems to pull it out of thin air. Lab is a waste of two hours when she assigns what lab to do and makes you do it completely on your own. When you ask a question she gets mad and acts as if you should already know the answer. Avoid this professor at all costs!!!!!!!

If you've already signed up, GET OUT!!! She explains nothing, her powerpoints hardly have any words on them, she tests you on passing thoughts in class & her awful powerpoints, she doesn't curve when everyone in the class gets D's and F's. Tests you on uncovered material. Steer clear of this professor.

SHE IS BY FAR THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE HAD! She barely goes over anything and when she does it isn't very clear.. She expects you to learn things on your own.. also I bought the book for no reason had no book work. WASTE OF TIME

take her W-course!!!! sooooooo easy! we wrote 2 pappers the whole semester! there was also only one page easy write ups every week but pretty much a cake walk. if you put even the least bit of effort into your writing youll pass!

She's a smart woman, really knows her stuff. I found the class challenging but its my major so i enjoyed the material. She seems tough, and i worried about my grade, but talking to her one on one really helped me ease my concerns. I just wish i did it earlier in the semester!

I nearly have to take every course in my major with her...she's really friendly at first. Later on tho if you ask questions, you get yelled at. She's really smart, but acts snotty and aloof. She lets you know constantly that you don't know as much as she does. No structure to the course. Doesn't hand anything back. Always late. Gets flustered alot.

Took during a winter course. Knows everything there is to know about the subject, but will make it clear for you to understand. Study and listen in class, and you will be fine. You might end up interested in the subject like I did!

Gives off the distinct impression that she knows everything there is in the earth sciences, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's true. Some classes (like Historical) can get a little confusing, but that's more due to the material than her teaching style. On the whole, she's more than able to present most material in an easy to understand manner.
