He's old (70) and he still uses 80's teaching material which is what makes his work so difficult. His manuals are what he uses the most on quizzes and tests, memorize those and you may stand a chance. Otherwise, avoid if you can!

Worst professor in my entire life AND I HAVENT EVEN GOTTEN HALF WAY THROUGH THE CLASS YET. I have never met a more difficult professor in my entire life. If you're not already a meteorologist, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. thought be the easiest elective for science, WRONG. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. he will make you feel stupid every chance he gets. good luck.

I should have avoided like I was advised to do by other reviewers but I'm an A-/B+ student so I gave him a shot. DO NOT TAKE HIM unless you have a background in astrology. He goes really fast, provides a lengthy study guide and the quizzes/tests are completely different. If you have absolutely have no choice, go to every single class. I dropped.

Honestly he has the potential to be a good professor. But he's just one of the meanest people I've ever met. Don't ask questions unless you want to get yelled at. Very unapproachable and nitpicky when it comes to grading. I would definitely not recommend him to anyone. Wish I'd dropped this class when I had the chance.

absolute worse teacher that i not only had in college but my entire life. he is the kind of guy that gives southern a bad rep. he only looks to hurt your grade and take points off of anything he can. he also disagrees with the book and literally makes up his own definitions. DO NOT TAKE HIM. even if you have to take this course go somewhere else!!!

I LOATHED him at first. Success felt impossible. Can't ask him questions. Neatness counts. Expectations were all laid out in class, textbook, and syllabus. Everything you need to succeed is there. Do the work, study and come to class. Lots of extra credit. I worked really hard. Turns out he set us up to succeed if we did the work.

DON'T take this professor if you don't have to, he doesn't understand the meaning of a 100 level course. He assigns labs that are pretty much impossible to pass on (no one in my class had a C by the end). Tests and quizzes are easy but will take points off of things that he shouldn't like drawings of volcanoes even if you have a proper description

Dr. Fullmer expects a lot out of his students, and exams are hard. If you have to take Dr. Fullmer, I recommend getting together with a group to study. Exams and quizzes are hard. He is sometimes unclear with directions. He is very smart and passionate about what he does. You can do well in the class if you try. Study, show up, pay attention.

Very passionate but expects you to remember everything he says. Doesn't give good feedback and hates when people asks questions. Wouldn't recommend.

Fullmer is a tough teacher. HOWEVER, if you can make it past the first month YOU WILL MAKE IT (providing you are at least getting a C). He is passionate about his subject and a good guy, sometimes it is a lot to take in and learn though. He is a tough grader and you DO have to study. Don't take this if you are looking for an easy course! WRITE NEAT

Fullmer is very smart but he expects you to know everything he knows despite it being an intro class. Save yourself the trouble and do not take this class. He will take points off of quizzes even if you were correct simply because he didn't like the way you circled a question. He refuses to help on labs and gets angry if you ask questions.

I literally hate him. I needed to get a C in this class or better because I'm an ESC major. During the final exam I stepped out to receive a very important phone call. He failed me in the class because he thought the phone call was cheating.

I had to withdraw from this class. I do not recommend taking him at all. He is very smart but he expects you to know everything that he does. Tests and quizzes are not multiple choice, and everything is weighed so heavily in his class that if you fail 2 things you are done. Lectures are boring, hardly ever writes anything down.

THE WORST! Always leaving to get papers he forgot. Retaught myself everything at home bc is was too confusing in class. I went in the hall to answer an important phone call & he came out screaming at me to get off the phone & back in class. You feel like a bother asking him questions, & he tells you he can't help bc that's giving you answers.

I've never given a review before but I felt this one necessary. Please spare yourself the time and energy from taking this class if not absolutely required. This class is EXTREMELY fast paced and prof. explains content in the most difficult way possible. Expects you to have as much background as he does involving every single process he covers.

Although this was considered a general ed course level 200, it was the most demanding class I have ever taken. We finished the book in one semester. Don't ask questions, he treats you like an idiot. The lab manual was written on a typewriter and has a confusing outline. And he has terrible mood swings. It's a shame he's tenured.

Fullmer's class should not be taken unless you're an esc major. Not a good teacher of the material. Do not ever ask a question in class, wait til after when he's nicer. Gives tons of extra credit opportunities, do them! Boring lectures, he is kind of funny tho, but long labs, tough quizzes, somewhat easy tests, and flips out over attendance.

This professor is by far one of the most difficult professors I have encountered in all my career. He is not interpersonal, very attitudinal, he has high expectations and makes work very challenging, and demands alot of studying time. This is not the class for parents or working students. It demands great attention to perform with excellence

Difficult class but it's meant for majors. Doctor Fullmer designed meaningful labs and homework exercises that challenged students and forced us to apply math concepts to address relevant problems. He facilitated a field trip to his property where we saw the rings around Saturn. Fantastic professor who cares about undergrads.

horrible teacher. does not explain things cearly. the only way i understood was by getting a tutor. professor does not help with any labs and teaches too fast. gives you 100 questions to study for tests but the test only includes 15 questions. i do not recommend taking this course!
